10. Arbat, Moscow

Arabic by name, this street has been popular since the 19th century. Before the revolution that took place in 1917, it was the cultural center of Moscow. Today it is divided into two streets; Arbat Street and new Arbat Street. The new Arbat Street has big shopping malls, entertainment joints and restaurants while the old street has antique stores and book shops.

With only 500 residents, this commercial and tourism region in Seoul has an annual record of 4 million tourists. It is estimated that the daily flow of people in and out of the district can reach about 2 million daily. Measuring 1,800 meters lengthwise and 100 meters in width, the avenue boasts of monuments such as the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe.
