Theme parks entertain visitors at popular destinations worldwide. However, it is important to consider the costs and crowds that come with it. Florida Panhandle, an online reservation platform, ranks hundreds of theme parks globally based on size, attendance, and access prices.

The rank includes the 20 most expensive theme parks in the world. Disneyland Park and Disneyland Adventure Park in Anaheim, California, hold the top two spots. These parks have adult entrance tickets for $149. In the third position, we have Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom, another Disney park located in Bay Lake, Florida, with an adult entry ticket priced at $122.

Among the most expensive parks in the world, Disneyland Paris - Walt Disney Studio Park takes the fourth spot on the list. The park charges $116 per adult visitor.

Most visited theme parks

Adventuredome at Circus Circus is the most visited theme park in the world in Las Vegas, Nevada. It has an average of 207.57 annual visitors per square meter. Sanrio Puroland Park in Tokyo, Japan, comes in second place with a yearly average of 62.53 visitors per square meter, three times less than the first. Finally, Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, holds third place with an annual average of 42.41 visitors per square meter.

The theme park industry significantly contributes to the United States economy, valued at $15 billion. Globally, the industry was worth $54.9 billion last year, indicating park owners' massive investment and ambition. The high admission prices reflect the unique experiences offered to visitors, making it a worthwhile investment for those looking for an unforgettable experience.
