What American travelers are looking for in Europe
American travelers heading to Europe are keenly interested in exploring significant monuments and cities and immersing themselves in nature. Italy remains a beloved destination, with 58% of American respondents dreaming of visiting a historically significant site or monument. For 47% of American travelers, the desire to "explore more cities" is easily met in Italy via train travel, which affords stunning views of landscapes along the way. Unsurprisingly, 47.30% of respondents agreed that they would prefer public transportation during their trip to enjoy their surroundings. The study emphasizes that the favorite destinations of American travelers in Italy are those that depart from and arrive at the country's significant places of interest, such as Florence Santa Maria Novella and Naples Centrale, with routes leading to Rome Termini.
